Cookie Policy

This Cookie Policy explains how scale4presence.com, operated by ALI DEVELOPMENT LLC trading as Scale4Presence, uses cookies and similar technologies. The short answer: it does not.

What cookies are

Cookies are small text files that a website stores on your device. Similar technologies include local storage, tracking pixels and device fingerprinting. They are often used to remember preferences, measure audiences or show targeted advertising.

We set no cookies and use no tracking

Our website does not set any cookies of its own. We also do not use:

analytics tools of any kind;
advertising or social media pixels;
session recording or heatmap tools;
any technology to recognize or track you.

Your language preference

The site is available in several languages. To show you the site in your language, we store one value in your browser's local storage: the language code you use (for example "en" or "fr"). It is set on your first visit from your browser's language, and updated when you choose another language in the menu. It contains no identifier, is never sent to us or to anyone else, and is used only to avoid changing language on you again. You can delete it at any time by clearing the site data in your browser.

This storage is strictly necessary to provide the language you asked for. Because we do not use non-essential cookies or tracking, we do not show a cookie banner or ask for your consent.

Third-party requests when you visit the site

Even without cookies, loading a web page involves some technical requests to third parties:

Hosting. The site is hosted by Vercel. Like any web server, Vercel receives your IP address and basic browser information when it delivers a page, and records this in server logs to operate and secure the service.
Fonts. The fonts used on the site are stored on our own hosting. Displaying them sends no request to any third party.

These requests are needed for the site to work and display correctly. They do not involve cookies set by us. More detail is available in our Privacy Policy.

When you follow a payment link

We do not have an online checkout. When you buy from us, we email you a secure payment link issued through a PCI DSS certified payment provider. When you open that link, you leave our website and use the provider's own website. The provider may set its own cookies there, for example to process the payment securely and prevent fraud. Those cookies are controlled by the provider and covered by its own cookie and privacy policies, not by this policy.

How to control cookies in your browser

Although our site sets no cookies, other websites do. All major browsers let you see, block and delete cookies, usually in their privacy or security settings:

Chrome: Settings, then Privacy and security, then Third-party cookies or Delete browsing data.
Safari: Settings or Preferences, then Privacy.
Firefox: Settings, then Privacy and Security.
Edge: Settings, then Cookies and site permissions.

The exact menu names can change between browser versions. Your browser's help pages have up-to-date instructions. Blocking all cookies may prevent some other websites, including payment pages, from working properly.

Changes to this policy

If we ever decide to add analytics or any other tool that uses cookies or similar technologies, we will update this policy before doing so and, where the law requires it, ask for your consent before any such cookies are set or tracking starts. The date at the top of this page shows when the policy was last updated.
